VooJobs is committed to transparency and respect for your privacy. We only collect the information necessary to help you make better job application decisions.

This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and—importantly—what we do not do with your information.

We believe privacy is a right, not a trade-off. You maintain control over your data at all times.

We collect only what is necessary to provide our service:

• Resume data – The resume file you upload for job analysis
• Job descriptions – Job postings you provide via URL or text for analysis
• Basic account information – Your email address and name for account creation
• Usage data – Non-identifying information about how you interact with the platform (e.g., number of analyses performed, features used)

We do not collect unnecessary personal information. No social media profiles. No employment history beyond what's in your resume. No behavioral tracking across the web.

Your data is used exclusively to deliver the VooJobs service:

• Job analysis – We analyze your resume against job postings to calculate match scores and provide Apply/Skip recommendations
• Resume tailoring – When you choose to apply to a job, we tailor your resume for that specific role
• Cover letter generation – We generate role-specific cover letters based on your resume and the job description
• Interview preparation – We provide guidance relevant to the position you're applying for
• Platform improvement – We use aggregated, non-identifying usage data to improve reliability and user experience

We do NOT use your personal resume data to train AI models. Your resume remains yours.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your data:

• Encryption – Your resume and account data are stored using industry-standard encryption
• Access control – Only authorized personnel with legitimate need can access stored data
• Secure infrastructure – We use reputable hosting providers with strong security practices
• Regular reviews – We periodically assess security measures and update as needed

That said, no system is perfectly secure. We implement reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs, we will notify affected users promptly.

You have full control over your data:

• Access your data – View your stored resume and account information anytime
• Update your resume – Replace your resume with an updated version whenever needed
• Delete your resume – Remove your resume from our system without deleting your account
• Delete your account – Permanently remove your account and all associated data
• Request data removal – Contact us to request deletion of specific information

You own your data. We simply store it temporarily to provide the service you requested.

VooJobs uses minimal cookies:

• Essential cookies – Required for login, session management, and core functionality
• Analytics cookies – Used to understand general usage patterns (privacy-friendly, no personal tracking)

We do not use advertising cookies. We do not track you across other websites. We do not build behavioral profiles for marketing.

VooJobs relies on limited third-party services to operate:

• Hosting providers – We use secure cloud infrastructure to store and process data
• Payment processors – If you purchase credits, payment information is handled by trusted payment providers (we do not store credit card details)
• Analytics tools – We use privacy-focused analytics to understand platform usage without identifying individuals

These services are carefully selected and contractually required to protect your data. We do not share more information than necessary for them to perform their function.

VooJobs is not intended for users under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and data promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.

When we make significant changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify users via email or prominent site notice
• Give you the opportunity to review changes before they take effect

Continued use of VooJobs after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
